As of this moment, & for at least the last 3 days, the price of regular gas in Winnipeg is 8 - 13 cents per litre cheaper than it is in Brandon!!!

It's been like that for a couple of weeks we have lots of Dr.appointments for our Daughter in Winnipeg and we usually gas up before we leave but now we wait until we get to Winnipeg we paid 83.9 cents a litre today even the Co-op by Austin was 88.9

We go again about people complaining about why gas is cheaper in Winnipeg.

If I do,it's just enough to get me to where it's more reasonably priced.

I'm sure the folks in Binscarth, Russell and Roblin would say fill up in either Swan River or Brandon versus filling up at their respected towns.  
 
I highly doubt that's going to change anytime soon along we gas gets trucked from Winnipeg (or I suspect it is).

Why gas prices are 6cents cheaper in Glenboro and Ninette!!

another reason why we need Costco and a Costco gas bar. The savings will be worth the membership.  
 
Filling up at Costco in Winnipeg is even cheaper that gas stations in Winnipeg.

There usually is a difference. I've lived in Brandon 5 years now and there's usually a 5-10 cent difference when you go east.

6 days have passed since the original post in this discussion. Brandon gas prices have not changed. The 8 - 13 cents per litre gap has narrowed slightly. That gap is now only 8 - 12 cents per litre. At the current price, a 50-litre fill-up in Brandon costs $4.00 - $6.00 more than it will cost you in Winnipeg.

If you don't like it move. Complaining about it in a forum will only make you more upset about it. Or drive a scooter, though Brandon drivers would probably kill you. You need gas or diesel to drive! So my main concern is what gas station to get it at. I know the husky on 1st always had cheaper diesel than everyone.

I would suggest if one should to fill up now with the Hurricane that went through Texas. I predict gas will go up by atleast 5 cents by Wednesday. Nothing will change.

While they likely won't do anything, the only way they will know there is a problem with Brandon gas stations is to have these complaints filed and on record. A few minutes of your time, and the complaint link is the red square on the right of the screen of the above link.

Just repetitively complaining about the situation and feeling helpless will go no-where, but if everybody reading this took action, well then they might just get 20 complaints in their mailbox this week.

Gas $0.85 / litre at CANEX!  
In an effort to clear out remaining fuel before construction starts the CANEX is offering a discount at the pumps.  
The CANEX pumps are going to be replaced with ESSO pumps, which will include a "pay at the pump" option. After today, you'll need to get your fuel down the road at the 340 ESSO or in Brandon.

Pumps are closed at the Canex

Shell on 1st is at 107.9 Others were still 99.9 so if you need gas you may want to get it soon

And has there is now 107.9. im sure only going to get worse with the damage in Texas.
