Position: Journeyman Carpenter
About the Role
Keller Developments is seeking a skilled Journeyman Carpenter to join our growing construction team in Brandon, Manitoba. This role is ideal for a dependable professional who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and enjoys working on a variety of residential, commercial, and multi-residential projects across Southwestern Manitoba.
Requirements
- Valid Journeyman Carpenter certification
- Carpentry education or equivalent hands-on experience
- Minimum 3?5 years of relevant carpentry experience
- Valid Class 5 driver?s licence (Class 3 is an asset)
- Sound knowledge of construction methods, materials, and tools
- Strong understanding of workplace safety procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills
- Willingness to learn, flexible and adaptable
- Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Key Responsibilities
- Perform framing, finishing, and general carpentry work on residential and commercial job sites
- Read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications
- Move materials to job sites and ensure tools, machinery, and equipment are safely set up
- Operate power tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow all company safety programs, policies and procedures
- Conduct basic equipment inspections
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
- Consistently deliver high-quality workmanship within project specifications and deadlines
- Work collaboratively with site supervisors, trades, and project teams
