The Role
We?re looking for Red Seal Carpenters (or equivalent experienced journeyperson) to join our rebuild team. In this hands-on role, you?ll bring damaged properties back to life through quality workmanship, teamwork, and attention to detail.
Your day-to-day will include:
? Completing finish carpentry- casing, baseboards, cabinetry, doors, and windows
? Rough carpentry- framing, stairs, structural repair, and board-ups
? Working on residential and light commercial restoration projects
? Performing selective demolition and preparing sites for rebuild
? Collaborating with project managers, subtrades, and suppliers
? Maintaining a clean, safe worksite following COR? safety standards
? Reading scopes of work, understanding timelines, and executing efficiently
What you bring to the table:
? Red Seal Certification- a strong asset. Experience equivalent will be accepted.
? Minimum 5 years of carpentry experience (restoration experience a bonus!)
? Valid Manitoba driver?s license with abstract
? A completed criminal record check
? Strong communication and teamwork skills
? Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work independently or in a team
? Pride in your craftsmanship and reliability with client-trusted results
