Full-Time Grocery/Produce Clerk
Boundary Co-op is hiring a Full-Time Produce-Grocery Clerk at our Food Store in Deloraine, Manitoba.

What you'll do:
Reporting to the Food Store Manager, the Grocery-Produce Clerk is responsible for:
- Demonstrate day-to-day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen the Co-operative's vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety;
- Maintain and display all types of produce according to department standards;
- Maintain grocery and produce inventory through receiving, stocking, and facing merchandise;
- Assist with maintaining till operations as required;
- Greet customers and respond to customer questions in a courteous and professional manner;
- Ensure department best practices are consistently executed across grocery and produce areas;
- Ensure pricing accuracy throughout the store, including activation and deactivation of promotions and sale pricing;
- Understand and implement CASM standards;
- Monitor code dates to ensure the freshest inventory is available;
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-maintained department;
- Follow proper housekeeping and maintenance duties;
- Prioritize multiple concurrent tasks in a fast-paced retail environment;
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Who you are:
You are looking for a career in retail and have:
- A Grade 12 education or a combination of relevant experience;
- Computer literacy skills;
- Ability to lift and load products; extensive physical labour is required;
- The ability to delegate tasks when managing multiple priorities;
- A strong customer focus and the ability to work effectively with other Team Members;
- A high level of honesty, integrity, and a results-oriented mindset;
- A collaborative approach and the ability to build relationships and work toward shared goals;
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
