Hamiota Feedlot Ltd. is currently accepting applications for a full-time Bookkeeper. We are a Custom Feedlot, backgrounding and finishing up to 12,500 head of cattle. We are located 3 miles west of Hamiota, MB on Road #469. The primary responsibility of this position is to complete basic bookkeeping and CRA filing requirements in a flexible term position.
Applicants must be punctual, reliable and have strong organizational and analytical skills. Experience within a similar position would be a strong asset.
Duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Communicate closely with the Management team about finances
- Accounts Payable
- Minor Accounts Receivable
- Payroll
- CRA Filing (GST, PST, Payroll remittance)
- Communicate with accountant regularly regarding tax year and fiscal year end requirements
- Plan for capital investment and capital repairs with management team
