Chiropractic Assistant/Receptionist
JOB PURPOSE
As a member of our team, the chiropractic assistant is responsible for greeting clients entering the office and answering phone calls in a timely and welcoming manner and provides administration support under the direction of the chiropractor.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintaining a welcoming environment
- Greet clients by name as they enter
- Give new clients an office tour
- Book and schedule client appointments
- Check clients in and out on our EHR system
- Answer phone calls, emails and text messages
- Process payments and provide clients with receipts
- Prepare and print client forms
- Process health insurance for clients
- Keep reception area, bathroom and all rooms tidy throughout the day
- General cleaning ? help with garbage, floor sweep/vacuum daily/weekly as necessary
- Print end of the day reports and balance
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide a high level of response to customer inquiries.
- Customer service experience
- CPR level C preferred
- Interest in learning more about the benefits of chiropractic care and help promote it
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- The hours for this position include:
- Mondays 8:30am-1:00pm & 2:30pm-6:00pm
- Tuesdays 8:30am-2:00pm
- Wednesdays 8:30am ? 1:00pm & 2:30-6:30pm
- Thursdays 1:00-6:30pm
- This is a part time position (26.5 hours per week)
- Hours may vary slightly with Dr. Avery?s schedule
