Heating & Cooling Technician
HVAC / HEATING & COOLING TECHNICIAN
Small?s Electrical Services Ltd. is looking for an experienced HVAC or heating-and-cooling professional to help develop and expand this area of our business.
This position is based in Brandon, Manitoba, with work throughout Brandon and the surrounding Westman area. We are looking for someone who can contribute practical field experience in the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of heating and cooling equipment.
Relevant experience may include:
? Central air-conditioning systems
? Ductless mini-split systems
? Air-source heat pumps
? Geothermal heat-pump systems
? Residential and light-commercial HVAC equipment
? Refrigerant piping, evacuation, charging and commissioning
? HVAC electrical and control troubleshooting
The ideal applicant should:
? Have relevant HVAC, refrigeration, gas-fitting or electrical training and experience
? Hold applicable trade certifications or be working toward certification
? Have a valid driver?s licence
? Be dependable and comfortable working independently
? Communicate professionally with customers
? Diagnose problems accurately and explain repair options clearly
? Take pride in clean installations and quality workmanship
? Follow applicable safety, code and manufacturer requirements
? Be willing to travel throughout Brandon and the Westman area
This is an opportunity to play an important role in growing the heating, cooling and heat-pump division of an established local electrical contractor.
