What you?ll do:
The successful candidate is responsible for delivering excellent customer experiences in alignment with Boundary Co-op?s guiding statements; merchandising and displaying product; and maintaining department cleanliness and housekeeping standards. Core duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Operating a cash register and point of sale system, and assist with daily cash audits when necessary.
- Performing all duties associated with inventory stocking, including receiving and assisting with inventory counts when required.
- May participate in ordering product.
- Mix paint as required and make product recommendations.
- Maintaining shelf and display stock and organizing all goods intended for sale to meet established standards.
Who you are:
- You are looking for an opportunity to work in Customer Service and:
- You have excellent customer service skills, communication skills and the ability to problem solve.
- Highly motivated and have the ability to multi-task.
- Must be available to work a variety of shifts including days and Saturdays.
- Manual/heavy labour (up to 50lbs) on a repetitive and regular basis.
- Previous lumber/hardware experience would be an asset but is not required.
- You?re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
- You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
