So I did the latest mega update for windows 10 and now I can’t turn wifi on. I can slide it from off to on but it doesn’t work. It won’t search for wifi networks. Its a Dell laptop and it had windows 10 on it previously. Anyone have an appropriate link to a fix? Jeez I hate Microsoft.

Try unplugging your internet and plugging it back in, also did you reboot your computer after updating it.

When I updated my Chromebook from Windows 7 to Windows 10 I lost the sleep function. But somedays it will be in the start menu and other days not. Really strange. Should of stayed with Windows 7 it worked really good for me for a couple years.

I did some google searches but there has been lots of past problems with older Win 10 updates. I was hoping to find some applicable to this latest one. I’ll keep searching.

Search your tabs for command prompt. You’re going to have to type ipconfig/release and press enter. Than type ipconfig/renew and press enter again. It should take about a minute your computer will find your wifi.

The latest cumulative update wiped out my USB mouse. I did the usual troubleshooting (Uninstall device, reboot) but it still didn't show. So I did a System Restore and then it wouldn't even boot!! Stupid bluescreen. >  
 
But thanks to my iPad, I found info to fix that and was able to boot again. The mouse issue happened again but all I had to do was disable and re-enable it in Device Manager. Whew!!
