I’ve recently built my own PC mainly for gaming, but I’ve realized that it got quite boring so I want to build more PC’s.  
 
So if anyone wants a PC or was thinking of getting one message me and we can talk about what you want to do with it and I can help you choose the parts and then build it for you after they come, also you are going to be paying for the parts.

If I were you, I would consider buying used/refurbished instead of building if you are concerned about price. You can get some pretty good deals if you are patient, and for your purposes, most computers these days would be more than capable. It would definitely be cheaper than building!

It sounds like your PC needs a cleaning as well as the thermal paste will need to be reapplied. over time it hardens and loses its effectiveness. as for the harddrive you can buy and transfer all your files over yo the new one. Doing all this would be a lot cheaper than buying a new one. most PC's shouldnt be idling that high for temperatures. most idle around 30 to 50 celcius depending on the system.

Ya those temps are way too high. having them that high will eventually kill your CPU. The "brain" of your PC. Something is very dirty and/or your heatsink/thermal paste isn't applied right. or the paste is old as someone said.  
I always recommend Geekz computers on 18th st. They've been around forever, always honest and fair priced, and never had a problem with them. If you simply phone them they may be able to give u an idea on price. Depending on what needs to be done of course.  
simple cleaning or heatsink reseating shouldnt be that much though.like 20-30 min job at most if that's what it is. The high temps will definitely be causing your PC to be slow.

Is that Fahrenheit or Celsius? Your first post mentions F. If so starting at 75 is warm room temp. Fairly normal. Pretty sure most off the shelf pc’s would be toast if they ran over 100c for any length of time.

Your temperatures seem to be in normal range after seeing the picture and some pointing out that it was Fahrenheit. Your kore likely seeing the problem from the harddrive not working properly. I also recommend geeks or Brandon computers.
