Is anyone else's tv out? Rebooted and nothing, mts wait time is over an hour.

Mine's not working either. Reboot did nothing. On-line Chat isn't working, and wait time is now over 3 hours!!!  
Remind me why I pay then over $300.00 a month for their services????????

I got through the online chat and they said they are aware of the issue and working to fix it. No time frame given.

I got through to MTS 20 mins ago.  
 
It's an issue they are aware of and trying to fix. They did not have an estimated time of when it would be working again.

Very frustrating. Seems to happen more and more often. It would be nice if they would at least give an update when you call the repair number.

I have Westman cable for my t.v service. But a couple of weeks ago, I had no MTS Internet. I usually go on chat, which I did. They could not do anything for me. So called service. After about 15 minutes, the IT service said they would have to make an appointment for someone to come down. Waited for the call, nothing. So back on chat, then phoned. I was referred to 6 people to make an appointment and finally did for the following day.  
The service is not the same since Bell. If this happens again I think I will switch over to Westman for my Internet.

They said "services" so likely has cell phones, home phone, internet etc. No one is going to pay $300 a month for just tv lol

Bell MTS "still uses the old school landline" to provide all services.  
 
Like half of providers in the developed word...  
 
The phone line way of providing services is generally the better way as each customer gets their own network port vs the coax way of providing XX amount of speed to a node then splitting it in an area. If one or two houses are being bandwidth hogs it can literally affect the neighbours.  
 
The POTS ( plain old telephone service ) with a individual network port provides a better connection and not affected by anyone else in the area.  
 
Yes, people have issues with both providers but most of the time its wifi related and the modem for both companies is getting proper speeds to it.

Westman uses coax to feed everything, they need a "modem" to convert from the coax system back to the standard wiring for home phones.  
 
Bell MTS uses twisted copper lines with voltage and dial tone on them direct from the Bell MTS office. The Bell MTS modem convert the signal on the phone line to be used as internet and TV while the phone line is separated from the modem.  
 
They work the same in essence its just converted in different ways. Both company's will do repairs if there are issues with the service.
