sync a bluetooth headphones to tv

I rec'd sony bluetooth headphones model WH-CH 710N for christmas...I have a smart TV sony Bravia model #W800L

I can't seem to sync the headphones to my TV..

Can anyone explain to me how to do this? thanks very much.

As far as I can tell from research, that TV doesnt have bluetooth. Its not actually common for tv's to have bluetooth so not the strangest. If you really need it, there are options such as this https://www.amazon.com/TaoTronics-Bluetooth-Transmitter-Receiver-Simultaneously/dp/B01EHSX28M

the model may be W800C not L. If so the manual can be downloaded here. This model is Bluetooth compatible.

If not then different manuals can be down loaded.
Or maybe Happycamper has already solved the query.

I have a Samsung tv that doesn't have bluetooth as they don't all come with it standard. There is a chip can buy to plug into port that will give signal and I just happen to have brand new one for sale. Never been used still in box
