I'm wanting to buy a new PC. Old computer is Win 10 Pro. New one will be Win 11. Is is possible/feasible to transfer everything to the new computer? Is this something I can do? or pay someone to do? I did a quick google and saw a suggestion to backup the old computer using Onedrive but I can't sign up for Onedrive because my something,something is expired. I also can't upgrade to Win 11 on my computer.

It is possible to transfer from one PC to another, you just need some storage to put things on in between.

My IT Source on Pacific Ave should be able to help you out. I don't thinks it's a big job. I seem to remember that with Window 10/11 you can wipe clean the data on your old computer so no personal information is left on the hard drive and it will ask if you want to save the data or just erase it. Copy all that information onto a memory stick, then put the memory stick in the new computer, but talk to My IT Source first.

You just want the files?  
Uninstall the drive from the old PC and install it as a second drive in the new.

Got my new computer set up this morning. Takes a while to do all the updates and answer "not now" to all the extra services they try to foist on you. Plan was to use an external hard drive to transfer stuff over. At one point during set up it asked if I wanted to transfer stuff over from my last computer back up - which confused me because I thought it didn't work last week when I attempted it. I accepted and I'm wowed by all the stuff brought forward. Many things work in autofill, many username and saved passwords transferred. My email settings. All my hundreds of internet favorites carried over. The only thing I used the external hard drive for was to move pictures and documents over.
