So i was browsing the winnipeg free press sept 16 and i come across a article.

WINNIPEG'S first Apple Store is set to open in Polo Park on Saturday.  
 
The prestigious computer and electronics retailer is opening a 6,000-square-foot store across from Sears in the south end of the mall on the ground floor.  
 
Apple announced the 9:30 a.m. store opening in a mass emailing late Tuesday.  
 
"We are very excited that they have joined our mall," said Polo Park general manager Deborah Green. "Apple is a very astute retailer and are very particular about where they locate."  
 
The much-anticipated Winnipeg store will be the 12th Apple store in Canada with three more openings in the works across the country.  
 
The stores are known for their detailed design featuring plenty of stainless steel, Italian tiles and blond wood finishing.  
 
The Polo Park location will be providing free family music and movie classes, one-on-one computer instruction and a variety of other workshops, Apple says.  
 
The company will be handing out free Apple T-shirts to the first 1,000 customers.  
 
Apple has five stores in the Toronto area, two in the Montreal area and one each in Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa and Vancouver.  
 
all i can say is woooooooooots sure i live in brandon now but ill totally drive all the way there its nice to know that theres a apple store in manitoba.
