I am a fairly new Blackberry user and am puzzled by a couple of messages I received through the night last night.  
 
All of my incoming messages have always displayed in Black Font, but the two messages that I got last night from a complete stranger were displayed in Red Font. The other strange thing was that the sender was displayed as a series of numbers and letters. It almost looked like an account number of some sort.  
 
It would have been less shocking if the messages had been different, but it looked like the sender was trying to organize her love life!! The messages were instructions to a friend on how to try and convince a particular guy that he should date the sender. I feel badly that the messages didn't reach the intended cupid, but I'm not going to reply to warn them!!  
 
Has anyone ever received a message from a stranger on their Blackberry that displayed in RED? Do you know why it was RED?
