Windows 8.1 IE 11. Weirdest thing. I haven't been able to sign on to the bank for some time now. I enter the card number and password and hit sign on and the number and password just disappear. No message or anything. It also won't save the card number if the save box is checked. I called the banks tech support and was told it's a computer problem. I can sign in to other things. I tried and can sign on to the bank account from another computer. I have the latest 8.1 updates. Security settings are on the default medium. Windows Defender and Kaspersky are running.

Internet Explorer is a turd. 1st thing to try is faster browser, Chrome or Mozilla.

If it is technical - I can screw it up.  
 
But it sounds to me like you have what is going on with my laptop right now - too much security. It could be some security protocol has disallowed even one piece of your banks' sign in page and you have to find it and allow it.  
 
It is driving me nuts right now - there are so many pop ups and ads and hidden junk in the back of websites it is infuriating. I need to get my Mac back - this almost never happens with Macs.
