Yes, I did manage to contact someone through the school's facebook page and was told there was a hardware failure last night. According to the e-mail sent out however they've got a request in to the vendor to get it fixed and in the meantime things should work, just slower then normal. So sounds like they need to get in touch with whoever they got the equipment from, and they're closed for the weekend. Not much help when I have an assignment that has to be uploaded by midnight tomorrow. I've e-mailed the professor so hopefully he'll get it and send me the powerpoint I need to look at. However, if it's a BU wide problem I'm wondering if he'll even get the message. :-(
Technology's great when it's working but such a headache and stress when it doesn't. And of course it's on the weekend when there aren't people available to deal with it.
