    scanned jpeg file with apple

    I have scanned a bunch of papers with my apple laptop. The 1st batch was all good but on 2nd time batch I can open those files on my apple laptop then I backed them up on a usb backup stick but I can't open those jpeg files on my hp laptop. What is wrong: my apple or hp laptop? How to change the jpeg to jpg file?

    Take a quick internet search at renaming

    File types on windows.  
    Your on the right track when you say renaming from JPEG to jpg.

    I did that prior to asking the question on ebrandon. No success. It didn't get me nowhere.
