Does anyone know how to stream tv to chromcast without having a wifi connection? Using ur data off phone.

Your phone and chromecast need to be connected to the same wifi network to talk to each other.

Turn on your personal hotspot on your phone and connect the tv to it wirelessly, maybe?

I have tried numerous different ways via personal hotspot ect. The only way that it works is if you have a wireless router that the chromecast and your phone are connected to. Your router does not need to be connected to the internet. Then using your cell phone data plan you can cast to your TV via the chromecast.
