Changing the hard drive on westman cable dvr

Has anyone changed their hard drive on their dvr? Mine is glitchy and I was thinking about switching it out. Has anyone done that before, or taken it somewhere in Brandon to get done? It gets used pretty heavily and the glitches are so annoying. (it is a purchased dvr, not rented)

Mine's rented, so I'm not touching it.

I would think it would automatically rebuild upon switching drives, but....

Those units were pretty common, so there should be lots of info out there.

That is the one. I have had it for at least 5 years
