From the Brandon Transit website:
Pets on City Transit Buses Policy
Definition: Any animal kept by human beings as a source of companionship and pleasure.
Policy: Guide dogs for the visually impaired, hearing impaired and special needs dogs required by passengers for independent travel, are permitted on a bus provided they are fitted with a proper harness. All dogs must be kept off the seats. Small pets that are kept inside a proper cage or carrier will be permitted on a bus, provided the owner can safely store the container while onboard. Large dogs or other pets that could pose a threat to Brandon Transit patrons, are not permitted on City buses.
Brandon Transit Operators may refuse service at any time, with any pet, should the operator feel an unsafe environment exists for other patrons on the bus.
