Horse, Cow and Pig yes. But not other animals especially your pets (dogs and cats).
Dogs and Cats have many micro-organisms, parasites, etc. that you do not want to end up in your food garden. They are not killed by the compost process. So will end up in the food you eat.
Think of it like this - a cat eats many things including birds, mice and squirrels. Their digestive system is made for this but yours isn't. Then think of eventually this could be in the garden you grow where you pull up a carrot and eat it. Even if you wash vegetables this nasty stuff will still be there. Yuk!
Dog and Cat poop / litter have to be put into a plastic bag or other container prior to be putting into the black city bins. Or in the rural areas garbage containers. "
