The price for dogs is getting ridiculous, even the mutts are over 800 now. How could you feel good selling dogs to families for 2500-3000$? Especially some don’t even have papers, shots or purebreds. I don’t understand. I wish my children could experience having small house puppy but we will not afford one anytime soon. Thanks to everyone’s outrageous prices.

Mutts are around $400 from most adoption agencies like the Humane Society, Manitoba Mutts, Manitoba Underdogs, etc.

Check with the the Brandon Humane Society, Funds fur Furry Friends, and breed-rescue groups on-line. Their fees are lower and usually i:ncludes vet checks, shots and neutering/spaying. Plus you’re helping a good cause, not a backyard breeder.

Would you be interested in something like this? Yes it will have fleas and have zero vet care but you would be saving a puppy from a short life. There are many different breeds up there from husky to shepard mixes.  
 
I have attached a picture of the puppy I brought home a few months ago. I will probably be headed up north again in next couple of weeks so could possibly bring a puppy back for someone.

I saw this picture and freaked out!! This puppy could be related to mine, who we adopted from LoveABull group in December 2019.  
 
Though we are in BC, LoveABull transports litters from Northern Manitoba a couple of times a year to lower mainland BC. They usually deal in Pitbull crosses, but our fur baby is a husky/sheppard cross. Looks nearly identical to your picture but with a bit less white.  
 
I agree, do some googling into rescues and small shelters in your area instead of feeding into people's greed. For our mutt, we paid $600, but that i:ncluded her spaying, first shots and covered her care during the trip across the country. There are tons of puppies up North born into squalor and these little agencies are just trying to save them all.

So far we have paid $150 for the triple appointment vaccine puppy pack at virden plus $50.00 for mosquito, tick, and worm medicines. Neuter is next month when he is old enough.  
 
He is a shepard, husky, wolf, collie mix.

The only thing is we need a smaller breed dog, our home isn’t quite big enough for a large dog.
