    We have a Golden Retriever pup and have tried several brands if dog food. Seems to have finicky tastes and she has had bouts of diarrhea.  
    What brand of food are other people feeding their retrievers? Why did you choose that brand?

    We fed our boy Performatrin Large Breed Puppy until 1-year old and then switched to Performatrin Large Breed Dog.  
    We've kept his food very consistent throughout his life (he's almost 5 now). The more you switch around their food the more problems they seem to have.  
    Hand feeding is also super important as a pup so try that out as well!

    Been feeding Origen/encana for current lab and previous two. Made in Canada. Fresh ingredients. Top quality food. Very little grains/fillers. Plenty of varieties.  
     
    Maybe stay away from any chicken blends. All our labs have been allergic to chicken.

    We use the same food as recommended/ used by our breeder. It is TLC (https://tlcpetfood.com/). They are out of Ontario. We buy dog food and biscuits online and it gets mailed to us. We have purebred black labs. Our dogs go crazy over it. They are labs though and especially food motivated haha.
