Which product do you use that's effective ?

For my small dog mixed in with his wet food. I am wondering if this might also work for a cat.

Have you spoken with your vet to see what they recommend for your particular cat?  
Many vets recommend Laxatone.

Our kitty has suffered with bowel issues for years until I stumbled in this web site - https://littlebigcat.com/constipated-cats/ . Now he gets 1/4 tsp of Restoralax (or generic substitute) twice a day, mixed with a 1/2 small can of cat food. Also the vet has him on special high fibre dry cat food. Also we discovered that making water more attractive to drink by getting him a water fountain (located far away from his feeding area). It was a real eye opener to see how often he was at it when before he drank very little water. Hope some of this helps you.

Keep the water dish fresh and full to encourage drinking, and I always found canned food would get things moving.

Coffee and a cigarette outta do it.

My kitty also had constipation problems and the vet suggested Restoralax. I put an 1/8 teaspoon in his wet food and it helped. Also try to encourage them to drink more. My kitties got the juice when I opened a can of tuna or salmon for myself.
