My furry,large spaniel needs his summer haircut again,but I am unsure if the $30-60 animal clippers will do the job or not.I generally use scissors but it it time-consuming & frustrating for both of us(me & Clifford,the big yellow dog).  
He is not much bothered by the sound or vibration,& he will not bite me,unlike his predecessor,a Westie,who had to be anesthetized to trim even one snip of fur or a toenail.  
I want to buy a set of clippers,but need some advice from others about whether or not these low-priced clippers will do the job on a fairly heavy-coated dog.
