Jock, my Scottish Terrier is three years old and full of personality. A vigorous runner he has the farm yard to explore and has these past three years.  
 
As a puppy we addressed the usual behaviours and chasing vehicles was one in particular, being territorial as Jock can be.  
 
He is a well-behaved dog, listens to commands. Yet night before last, he chased a vehicle leaving our yard and he's been injured.  
 
The poor wee fellow had surgery yesterday to mend a dislocated back leg. The vet has put in a pin, which will be taken out in a month's time. Jock's in the hospital until Monday.  
 
I don't understand why he would, in the blink of an eye, revert back to his puppy behaviour.  
 
So folks, a word of caution to keep a close eye on your pets.
