As it has been several days since this dog was found south of Deleau (northwest of Hartney or south west of Souris) and no owner has been located yet I thought it might be of service to post on the message board. I have also posted a classified ad but one thing I have learned lately is that some visitors to eBrandon do not view both.  
 
I received this email from our neighbour on Friday ... lets hope we can find this little girl's family.

"On the morning of October 23rd, a little black dog wandered into our yard.  
 
This is an elderly female dog. She was very thin and dehydrated when she found us. When brought in the house she could barely stand.  
 
The good news is she's doing better after a lot of food and water. But we don't know who she belongs to. Nobody near us has lost a little dog. So we are thinking that she got away from someone while travelling in our area. Which means she could be from ANYWHERE in Manitoba or Saskatchewan.  
 
 
 
I do not want to post the name or phone number where this little dog is right now, so if you have any ideas please post here or PM me and I can forward the message to the kind people who are caring for this friend.
