So I'm just curious...because I don't understand why some people when they get pregnant/ have a baby end up getting rid of the cat. Yeah, Ok besides the fact that the cat can smother the baby. I know for me when I have a child...my cat isn't going anywhere!! He's my first (child)...and I love him to death. Isn't it as simply as keeping the doors closed when the baby is sleeping, or putting the cat in the kennel? Unless I am missing something. I don't know...I just think it's sad that people make the commitment to the pet then BOOM baby comes and then the cat doesn't seem important and is out the door
