My Opinion: Being too cautious is better than not caring. Both times I have left my dog in my vehicle, I had been approached by concerned citizens. Both times, when I pointed out my car was on, A/C on, and doors locked the individuals turned their rather harsh tone into a more apologetic one. Even if they didn't, I would much rather some one call me out then to think I could have easily turned my car off and no one would do anything about it.
The first time, I had picked my dog up from doggy daycare. We were both in a great mood, and she played well. On our way home I decided to stop at Pet Lovers Warehouse to grab her a special treat. I parked right infront of the doors, left my car on, A/C on, and my doors were locked. The treats were right at the front and I saw two women getting out of their vehicle beside mine and they looked into my vehicle and saw a panting girl (of course, she was just running and playing!) but they didn't know that. And I don't blame them for not knowing that, I went outside and approached them. They started to rant and rave and I told them how my car was on (They then took a second to notice themselves), told them how she just finished playing a doggy daycare and was tired! I wanted to get her a special treat

. I even opened the side door so they could see her. They apologized for acting hasty and I said don't! What else were they suppose to think? Panting dog, alone in a car, I would rush to judgement too!
The second time was similar to the first.
