Does anyone know if there is a service to come into home and take care of my pets? I'm pretty sure I'm going to need back surgery and will be out of commission for a while and unable to care for them properly alone. I need a plan before the surgery time comes because if I do not have care for them I am unable to go for it and it is much needed. Does anyone know an approx about how much it would cost if there are any options?

I don't know of a business that does this but I'm sure if you posted a job ad there would be someone available. What kind of pets and for how long? I know of a couple young girls that would be thrilled to have an animal care job: they aren't old enough to help at the humane society yet.

3 rabbits 2 rats and 2 cats. The cages need to be changed and cleaned every 3 days as well as the cats litter. The rabbits also need nail care. So would need to be someone comfortable with rabbits and small pets I'm unsure for how long. Depends on what exactly is wrong with my back. I have another doctors appointment soon as I have already been to 2 doctors who were wrong.

The local vet clinics and boarding kennels as they may have names of people that do this. Good luck.
