The east end dog park is always packed on nice days. We used to go around 6-7 and it was always busy. You just have to be careful and prepared to leave at any time as some people are pretty stupid and think there aggressive dog it just playing... We know the dogs pretty well and who our dog gets along with and the owners that we don't mind chatting with haha. The dog park by 26th and park is also pretty busy in the evenings, and for some reason seems to have better mannered dogs.. But we still head to the east end as my dogs made a lot of friends there. If you could find someone wanting to have a puppy date, you could always get them to meet you at the dog park on the hill. It's rarely ever busy, so they'd be able to interact just the few of them with hopefully owners who will watch there dogs. Just seems like a better idea then in someone's yard where the dogs may get protective of there yard (:
