    Golden retriever puppy food

    I'm a first timer golden retriever puppy owner. I just want to ask to those who had/ have golden retriever puppy, what kind of food are you feeding/giving to your puppies. Thanks in advance

    We had our girl on Blue Buffalo Large Breed Puppy food. She did great on it! She's over a year now, so we just switched her to Blue Buffalo Large Breed Adult. I really like their ingredients.  
     
    We've also done Royal Canin Golden Retriever Puppy for our other golden when she was a pup. Also a good food.

    Congrats! I remember the puppy years. Enjoy it - they grow up too quickly! Well, in size maybe, mine Is almost three now and still as crazy as ever.  
     
    I fed mine wellness large breed puppy food. Sign up on their website to get monthly coupons as well.

    A good quality large breed puppy food. Talk to the people in the pet food store, they should be able to help you.  
     
    Goldens can be prone to skin issues and ear infections (floppy ears). I've had better luck with my Goldens using a grain free formula but its really up to you and the dog.

    Most carry their own food and although it can be expensive it has helped my pug lose weight and helped his joints! They can also tell you how much your puppy should be eating.
