I spotted this online and thought I'd share this with pet owners who may be thinking of a spay or neuter for their pets, which is always a good idea.

I called our Veterinarian's Clinic (one which is listed). I was told I needed to provide a voucher from the Women's Centre, Samaritan House or be on Welfare etc. to qualify for the spay/neuter program for my pet. This is aimed for low income folk with pets. From what I was told a person would save 40% of the cost from spaying or neutering their pet. Each clinic maybe offering similar services but it's best to just call and inquire.

With them to get one of my girls in. There was no hassle, and the emails were quickly replied to.

I booked with Brandon hills and didn't need any kind of voucher or anything. My dog goes to there clinic so it was just a quick call to book him in. No hassle at all! It's $127 there.

Is that for shots and spay at Brandon Hills, or just a check up ?

He needs all his shots as well and that'll be $126 extra (he gets some "optional" shots as well), including his annual wellness exam.

Was the approximate for a spat and basic shots for the mobile vet.

Have to pay for an exam, shots and neuter/spay ? Or can you just get the neuter/spay ? Thinking about getting my 3 barn tom cats done. Anyone know the regular price before the 40% discount ?

The cost is based on your pets weight. Keep in mind the cost will vary from each clinic. If you have a clinic in mind just call and ask all your questions.

Cost for the exam as far as my invoice went. Usually a spay/ neuter for a cat is over $200.00 with vaccines

As Bob Barker said "get your pets spayed or neutered".  
We don't need more litters of kittens or puppies born without a home.
