Hello everyone I recently had a post about vancouver and thank you everyone for your help. I am still going to vancouver but I'm going to be staying 1 day and night in canmore so does anyone know anything good in canmore and banff. Places to eat,sight see,etc. Also I will be staying in ioco port moody does anyone know anything about there either will be there for 6 days and nights so will have lots of time there and vancouver. Once again thank you everyone. Oh also going to banff and bc will I be better off getting a yearly park pass or just pay at every park there will be 2 people also thanks.

Banff is awesome, if your staying in canmore hike grassi lakes. also check out Johnston canyon in the park.

There’s a Brazilian BBQ place in Canmore which is good. You put the card on the edge of the table for which you want and they come around with rotisserie’s of it and carve it at your table. I really liked t.

Those sound amazing I would like the rotisserie that would be cool . I want to try the place that sells snake and alligator etc in banff anyone try there? And the hiking how is it for bears etc that kind of thing?

I'm really interested on seeing anything I know there is a lot of great stuff around there so I'm just trying to get people's reviews and why they liked it or why they didn't and what is good then I can narrow down priorities lol

Drive a couple hours west to the Kicking Horse area - go white water rafting. There are many good companies, but make sure you choose the most “extreme” package with whatever company you go with. Tons of fun!! Visit Johnston Canyon for sure - cut off the main trail and you can find a little spot where you can stand under a water fall. If you’re in to hiking, as mentioned, the grassi lake hike is relatively easy and gives you some excellent views at the top.

I never thought white water rafting but that could be very cool. And the standing under a waterfall would be awesome thank you guys very much what about lake Louise? I've heard lots about lake Louise!!

The pass with work for any national park even Riding Mountain here. You can order them ahead online.

Do not pet the Grizzly Bears. I am not kidding. We were in a parked, locked, windows up car, watching a woman approaching a Grizzly Bear.

If you are hiking, I recommend renting bear spray. Only buy it if you are hiking for more than a few days. If you get lucky, you can visit the tourist rest stop in Canmore and maybe get a free can from travelers that are on their way out!

Waste your money on bear bangers either. They dont work. U would be better off with roman candles!!

You likely wanna know something about them. If u jus go out walkin around and end up having one chewing on your skull your then going to be wishing u had something in your defence

We’ve been there an did the exotic plate. It’s good! There’s a hot stone and an oil fondue for that. But you will want to wash your clothes before packing them again, you come out smelling like a deep fryer lol...I’m not kidding

That's the Grizzly house, food is so good but yes you absolutely reek of oil after. We had the stuffed mushrooms that you batter & fry at your table, so good!

I don't want to be a chew toy lol. And yes that's the one I'm excited for that place as much as the fresh seafood on the west coast. The exotic plate is that like a sampler kind of thing because that's what I'm hoping for a bit of everything if possible without being outrageous haha
