VOIP Phone Options

Hi. We’re traveling to Mexico soon. We are looking for a free IP based phone app that will work from IOS or Android to call from Mexico to call land lines back here. Of the research that I have done, all that I can see are ones that are within the US, which may or may not work from Mexico or Canada. I’m hoping that someone can help out. Thanks.
