Help!! I'm travelling to the states next weekend and its starting to look like my passport isnt going to be here in time so I'm hoping someone here will be able to verify what I have heard or to let me know who to contact if there is anyone.  
 
What I have heard is that as long as I have my original birth certificate and my drivers and my reciept or rather proof that I have applied for a passport but have not yet received it I will be ok. Is this true??? Is there a number that I can call to the US boarder station that I will be crossing at (the one at the Peace Gardens)  
 
I maybe stressing for no reason because it may show up but I guess I just want to make sure that worse case I cover every avenue.
