Construction Contract Administrator

Job Title: Contract Administrator

Reports To:  Contract Admin Lead

Location: Brandon, MB

The Contract Administrator plays a key role in managing contracts, documentation, and communication between stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

 

Responsibilities

1.    Support Project Managers, Estimators, and Accounting with contract administration and documentation.

2.    Coordinate with architects, engineers, and clients to meet project goals.

3.    Manage contract documents, RFIs, and Change Orders using project management software.

4.    Assist with reviewing plans, specifications, and procurement of materials and services. 

5.    Maintain electronic and hard-copy filing systems.

6.    Track project information and ensure timely submittals from subcontractors.

7.    Support tendering process and verify insurance and bonding requirements.

8.    Prepare proposals and responses to RFPs.

9.    Attend meetings, record minutes, and follow up on action items.

10. Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.

11. Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

1.    Minimum 3 years? experience in construction or related industry.

2.    Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Architecture, Engineering, or Civil Technology.

3.    Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with project management software an asset.

4.    CAD experience considered an asset.

5.    Strong organizational and time-management skills.

6.    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

7.    Knowledge of building codes and construction regulations.

 

Work Conditions:

  • Office located at 4000 Richmond Avenue East, Brandon MB. The office hours are Monday to Thursday 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Friday 8:00AM to 3:00PM.
  • Travel to participate in project meetings, presentations and training sessions.
  • Minimum Class 5 driver?s license is required
