Job title: Accounting Technician (Full-time or Part-Time)
Location: Brandon MB; Virden MB; Moosomin SK
Masson & Associates, Chartered Professional Accountants, is seeking a motivated individual to join our firm at any of our locations as an Accounting Technician. We are a public practice accounting firm with offices in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. We are committed to growing the firm, while remaining committed to our local roots and without compromising on excellent service to our clients. Your Role:
- Full-cycle bookkeeping for a variety of clients
- Assist with preparation of tax returns (personal, T4s/T5s, corporate)
- Assist partnership and management groups as necessary to provide clients with exceptional service, as required
Skills and Experience:
- Experience working in accounting field and/or accounting education is required
- Familiarity with Quickbooks (Online & desktop), AgExpert, TaxCycle, Caseware and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Sharepoint) would be an asset
- Agricultural experience would be an asset
- Must have strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated and an ability to work both independently and in a team
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills along with attention to detail and a willingness to learn and develop
