Victoria Landing Retirement Residence is seeking
Part-Time Certified Health Care Aide for Days/Evenings/ Weekends/ Nights
The Health Care Aide will provide direct resident care and environmental support within established standards of care, policies and procedures reporting directly to the Director of Care. The Health Care Aide functions to meet the special and changing needs of residents and assists them in reaching and maintaining optimum health and independence.
* Health Care Aide Certificate from a recognized Health Care Aide Program
* Other combinations of suitable education and experience is an asset
* Demonstrated organizational skills, and the ability to work independently
* Demonstrated communication skills and work as part of a team
* Demonstrated flexibility to facilitate changes in techniques and procedures
* Ability to work independently
* Ability to respect and promote a culturally diverse population
* Ability to respect and promote confidentiality
* Ability to perform the duties of the position on a regular basis
*Available to work all shifts (evenings, nights, days and weekends)
