TERM - Garden Centre Waterers
Canadian Tire is now hiring part time individuals to water plants for the garden centre season. If you are looking for a few hours to keep busy, love plants and like early mornings, this is the job for you! Start and end date of the term will vary based on weather and the successful candidate (approximately end of April to end of August)
Duties include:
Ensures plants are watered properly ? some plants require more/less water than others
Maintains and rotates annuals, perennials and nursery stock to ensure they look fresh and appealing
Keeping the garden centre neat and tidy
Job Requirements:
Must be available to work morning shifts, including weekends. We are looking for staff to start as early as 6:00am and work for 3 or 4 hours at a time
Desired:
Experience in a garden centre role, or experience growing your own garden
Good working knowledge of nursery stock and lawn/garden products
This is a term position, however, there is a possibility gaining permanent employment
